Okmulgee, Okla. – The Muscogee (Creek) Nation Department of Health will implement new pharmacy policies for prescriptions to minimize patient exposure to the COVID-19 virus by limiting patient visits to health care facilities.
The new policy, effective March 23, 2020, will begin automatic refills of prescriptions. To assist us in serving patients, members should request all prescriptions to be mailed 7 days prior to their last dose to allow time for processing and shipping. Orders will be mailed to MCN patients or are available for curb-side pickup at all clinic and pharmacy locations.
“We are committed to the health and safety of our patients,” said Shawn Terry, Secretary of Health for the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Department of Health. “Minimizing non-urgent patient contact is a necessary step in reducing the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus.”
Patients are urged to contact the pharmacy at 855-771-4321 or 918-758-3202, online at creekhealth.org, or via the Muscogee (Creek) Pharmacy app to confirm their contact information and address is correct and have their prescriptions mailed. Patients can also contact their clinic to arrange for curbside pickup.
The MCN Department of Health has established a COVID-19 information line to address questions and concerns. Citizens can call (918) 758-3550 Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
